Stagehand From Leather Apron Revival

British Columbia Rock band Leather Apron Revival are the new Black Label Society as far as I am concerned. Their latest release Stagehand is a testament to what I have just proclaimed. While others might draw a comparison to Rage Against The Machine, it is my opinion that this band is far superior. For me rage against the machine is more for the angsty, militant teenager who is looking to be “edgy”.

Leather Apron Revival is more for the rock connoisseur, someone with a refined taste for what rock is, or should be. Much like BLS frontman Zakk Wylde, there is a rich, warmness to Lennan DeLaney’s vocals that we all agree fit the genre perfectly. Grady Pasiechnyk and Jeff Rees elevate Stagehand to an entirely different level with killer bass and over the top drumming. I cannot say enough good things about Leather Apron Revival.

Stagehand will take you back to a time when rock was actually rock music, and not what we currently have labeled as “rock”. In 2000, I was working security for the Ozzfest tour and Leather Apron Revival could have easily been one of the bands featured, they are just that damn good. What we like so much about this song is the fact that there is that is served hot and in your face from the start.

If this is just a taste of what is to come on their much anticipated LP titled Light and Shadow, then we are sure it will be just as great as this single. If you have not had the chance to listen to Leather Apron Revival, or their single Stagehand then I suggest that you do it now stream and playlist it everywhere.

You can also follow the band on social media and share those socials on yours as well.
