We owe a huge thank you to Primes for allowing us to have an early preview of their upcoming single Redesign. One of the things I love so much about music from the UK, is that it seems to be inspired by the 80s and 90s era’s. So much so that more times than not a band will release a single that just has that nostalgic vibe to it.

Primes has effectively done that with their new single. In my opinion it sounds a little like Green Day. After listening to previous releases by the band I feel that it is important to mention how one can see the evolution of the band lyrically and vocally. This is important because from my time spent working artist development if an artist or band cannot, or does not wish to grow, then they are destined to be just a local band forever.

Having that “it” factor, something that appeals to everyone and reaches out to new fans will always be beneficial to the band. I feel that Redesign from Primes can be the song that will do just that. What I like so much about this song is the fact that it has a nostalgic rock sound mixed with a more modern pop sound. Vocally the listener couldn’t ask for a more perfect song to add to their playlist. Lyrically it is just about as perfect as it could be.

I think it is important to also mention that the band first formed back in 2017 and members Ollie, Sarah, and Reece are great together. One can really hear how their sound has become more refined in such a short time. I highly suggest that my readers begin following Primes on social media and begin streaming their music right away. Don’t forget to add their new single Redesign to all of your playlist when it drops on November 19th.

Thank you to the band for allowing us the opportunity to cover their new music. We will be adding Redesign to our playlist as soon as it is released.
