Paralyzed from RED SKIES MOURNING
What sort of sorcery is this? Paralyzed from Red Skies Mourning is possibly the sickest alt-rock song I have listened to thus far. I’m not sure where to begin to be honest. The artwork is like someone blended Japanese Anime with The Gorillaz, and the result is this absolutely beautiful piece of art.
Vocalist Chris Aleshire goes all in with this over the top edgy and creative track. I don’t feel it fitting to compare this song to anything by groups like Soundgarden, or any of those. In my opinion, Red Sky Mourning skyrockets beyond what their contemporaries or bands of the past have released. If someone were to hold a gun to my head and forced to pick one similar band, then I would probably say a slowed down version of Linkin Park. Even then that would be a lie simply because Red Sky Mourning in my opinion is so much better.
The backing track to this song plays something like a Johnny Depp fantasy movie and it works really well for Chris’ vocals. Before blogging about music I spent a few years in the world of artist development. I would assist in boosting the career of an artist, so that they would have more time to focus on their music. Chris Aleshire would have been an artist I would have wanted to work with. If I would have been a part of his management team one of the first things I would have went after would be a publishing deal, provided he had an extensive catalog. I have helped to motivate artist to chase their dreams and some have went as far as performing on some of the biggest stages in Nashville, TN.
Paralyzed was co-written by Chris Aleshire, Ryan Curtis (Accomplished Scottish Singer/Songwriter, and Cesar Da Emporer (Producer, Beatmarker signed to Dre London, Post Malone’s Manager). If you have not heard this amazing song that just released today I would suggest that you do so now, and share it everywhere.
My final thoughts for Chris are this: BZ and as a lot of people that I know would say, Drink To The Foam.
