Miserable from The Super Late Night
Listening to “Miserable” the newest release from The Super Late Night takes me back to a time whenever I was a teenager hanging out in the arcade and bands like Tears for Fears, Depeche Mode, and Cheap Trick would be the soundtrack of the day. This is just another reason as to why I enjoy a lot of the pop music that comes from the UK.
While the song itself tends to take more of turn to making friends and becoming comfortable with our own miserable circumstances the production and backing track are spot on. Depending on what type of person you are you will feel one way or another. You will feel as though it is emo-pop at its best or it is a new direction for pop music in general.
I really wish it were possible for today’s generation to travel back and experience music the way our generation did. When it was fresh, fun and exciting. Now it seems that music has been relegated to being classified as “classic” or “vintage”. In my opinion, Miserable from TSLN is about as close to experiencing the greatness that our generation were fortunate enough to have had.
Miserable was written/produced byTSLN and engineered by George Oliver (ZELA, futurepeople). If you are a fan of synth-infused pop rock then you are going to love Miserable from The Super Late Night. Be sure to follow on social media and share/stream Miserable everywhere and as often as possible.
