Three piece alternative band Bosola of Newcastle will be releasing their new single “Me On A Good Day” on December 6th. The single is an intimate look into a world filled with a faith that is lost and what seems like a endless cycle of hopelessness. While others might compare the band’s sound to that of Oasis, it is my opinion that a fairer comparison would be The Cure or The Smiths.

What I like so much about this song is that it does in fact have a sound similar to something would have played in the 80s. Vocalist Tim Cox has a sound that is reminiscent of Robert Smith (The Cure) on this track. It is my opinion that “Me On A Good Day” will be well received by listeners everywhere. We are really excited for our readers to hear this amazing song once it is available on December 6th.

“Me On A Good Day” has a darkness about it, but there is an honesty to it that I feel many will relate to that have felt the same way at some point in life. Other songs that are similar to this one come across as “depressive” or “angsty” but this is not one of those.

According to vocalist Tim Cox, “The song was written at a time in my life in which the curtains all were drawn back at the same time and found that all the stories I had been told started to ring empty and everything started to feel pointless and I felt tired all the time”.

Once it is released, we think you will share our opinion of what a great song this is. Please be sure to pre-save, stream it (Once Released), and share it everywhere. We will be adding to the top of our Spotify playlist.
