At some point in our lives we all have felt the need to prove ourselves to someone that we loved. Personal growth can sometimes feel like it will take an eternity to accomplish. Once a person has grown and matured it is only then that they wish to prove it. What happens though if those that we have went through the process of growth have moved on.
As I first listened to QEERAN’S new single “Like Your Man” this seemed to have been the underlying theme. This incredibly talented R&B singer from Australia has given us a truly seductive reason for asking the question “what if I had not waited so long to change”.
What I like the most about this song is that it reminds me of a lot of the R&B that was so popular in the 90s, but has a more modern appeal. One other thing that I liked it that it was written, recorded, produced,mixed and mastered entirely by QEERAN. He truly is a master of his own destiny with this song.

Since having the opportunity to listen to the rest of his music on Spotify I must say that I am now a fan. His voice makes me want to turn the lights down low, open a bottle of wine, and just spend the evening with the love of my life doing whatever comes natural.
If you are fan of Keith Sweat, Boyz 2 Men, or any of the 90s r&b groups then this is the artist you should have on all of your playlist.
