Australian singer-songwriter Michelle Limanjae’ new single Hey Dear, Heidi dropped today. It is an indie rock soundtrack to the struggle she has endured during the time of COVID, and being so far away from family. I think the song will be relatable because so many of us are in the same situation.
Michelle mentioned that there were many times she gave up on the project due to difficulties, I am glad that she didn’t. Even with its serious undertones Hey Dear, Heidi is a fun song to listen to. It has a late 80s to early 90s vibe about it that works out great with Michelle’s vocals. She has done an excellent job writing, composing, and producing it as part of her solo project.
The song is a perfect addition to any playlist as it will brighten up the worst of days, and have the listener not feeling so alone during these trying times. I cannot say enough great things about Hey Dear, Heidi. Take a listen for yourself.
