Forever and Ever from Maria Pellicano

Maria Pellicano released her new single today “Forever and Ever”, and at first glance it might seem like it will be just another bubble gum type pop song of being in lover forever and ever. In my opinion, it is more about loving ourselves enough to grow beyond our own dark traits. Some would put it as learning to co-exist with our demons. Learning to live peacefully with our demons means placing hope above all else.

What I like so much about this song is the fact that it encourages the listener to empower themselves to live better. That empowerment can come in the form of facing our fears head on and confronting them. This may not easily be accomplished, but it can help to heal trauma, old wounds, and insecure feelings that we may have.

I honestly believe that anyone listening to “Forever and Ever” will feel empowered by this song by its incredibly powerful message. It is great to find an artist that actively works to help people find their true selves. This is what music should be about, Hope.
