Dear X from Belora

Australian Pop/R&B artist Belora dropped her latest single “Dear X” on the 19th. I am glad that I had the opportunity to discover this amazing artist the song has the vibe of an old school throwback 80s and 90s slow jams.

Vocally I feel that Belora is in a class all her own, but if I were forced to choose a “sounds like” comparison then I would choose Alicia Keys, maybe. She has smooth, soulful sound that is very addictive. Her voice is one that a listener could easily find themselves listening to for long periods of time without ever realizing. Lyrically, the song is an ages old tale of catching feelings for someone, but having that person not feel the same in return. It is easy to relate to because we have all been in that position at one time, or another we have been the ones with the feelings or the object of someone else's misguided affection.
