I am one of those people who still get excited around Christmas time. There has always been something magical about the holiday season that I have held dear to my heart ever since I was a child. As an adult, I always made it a point to be home with family regardless where I was or what I was doing. This is something that I passed on to my own children.

For some being home is not always possible for whatever reasons military deployment, work requirements, or a pandemic. Kinda Angelys’ new single “Can’t Do Christmas Without You” was written from the prospective of being separated during the holidays because of COVID-19. It is not a depressing song but is more of an inspirational one.

Even if we cannot be with our loved ones during the holidays, we can still be there in spirit is the message that I take away from “Can’t Do Christmas Without You”. In the age of Zoom, Skype, and FaceTime we can still be together laughing, dancing and sharing memories of past holidays with one another.

In my opinion Angelys’ new single is sure to foster the Christmas spirt for many people. People often think that November is too soon for Christmas music, but for those who cannot be home or are separated because of COVID lockdowns and restrictions, music can help ease their sadness. I really hope you will give this song a listen and share it everywhere.
